We are a Vigneron family

Vigneron indépendant” is the French expression used to describe those who produce wine exclusively from grapes grown on their own estate. In a Vigneron winery, only grapes born, nurtured, and harvested from the property’s own vineyards are brought into the cellar.

In Portuguese, the equivalent designation — vitivinicultor-engarrafador — hardly conveys the depth and spirit of this concept. Because being a Vigneron is far more than producing wine: it is about living every stage of its creation in its entirety.

We are, therefore, a Vigneron family — independent creators and wine artisans. More than simple producers, we devote ourselves to crafting unique wines, profoundly connected to our place and impossible to replicate.

We cultivate, tend, and harvest the grapes from our estate entirely by hand.

Respecting the rhythm of nature, we intervene only when strictly necessary, allowing the extraordinary terroir of our land — uniquely capable of giving rise to wines with century-long longevity — to reveal its full potential and the identity of each vintage.

We care for every stage of the winemaking process with rigor and attention to detail, following each ageing stage with particular dedication.

Bottling also involves our direct participation, and we manually oversee the presentation of every bottle, from labeling and wax sealing to the placement of each bottle in its case.

Our lives are thus devoted to an entire cycle that begins with the planting of each vine and only ends when every bottle leaves the cellar and reaches our clients’ table.

This is the spirit of our family — an absolute commitment to authenticity, identity, and artisanal craftsmanship in every wine we create.
